Join other like minded individuals in sharing our common affections, enthusiasms and interests for Anime, at The New York City Anime MeetUp Group's next meeting, at the Skylight Diner.

The Skylight Diner, is located near the corner of 9th Ave. on the south side of the street. It close to the A, C, E, 1, 2, 3, subways, Penn Station and the PATH. They would appreciate it, if attendees ordered/purchased food and drink, from Skylight Diner, during their stay. They also provide individual checks for what you order. You'll find us in the back of the diner. We are the ones having the most fun. ^_^

Please Note: The Skylight Dinner provides individual bills that may include tip. Please pay them directly to the waitress or at the register as soon as you get them.

Love Wolf's Rain and still can't get through the closing song without tissues near by. Currently watching Tactics (netflixed last vol), Also my dvds of Soul Hunter inbetween netflixing. Patiently waiting for vol 2 of moon phase to be ready but they keep placing it back on the short or long wait list. have ergo and gil in my que (I think)

I'm currently watching "Ergo Proxy." Hate to say it, but so far I'm not liking it. Animation and art work is very good, but the plot?! Well, that's what I'm still trying to figure out. Also rewatching "Wolf's Rain." It's one of my all time favorites!!! Highly recommend it!

Just finished watching Gilgamesh, it hurted my brain. Really interesting series with very dark animation and an even darker undertone. Its more a serious anime, with a mysterious plotline that doesnt fully ripen til the end. The characters are drawn with heavy lines, helps with the setting, I recommend it if you like darker stuff. I'll have it with me come meeting time.

This will be my first meetup so I'm a little nervous :X I wish I could get to know some of you online first :( So what are some good animes to watch? Right now I'm watching Gundam 00. I stopped following Death Note for a while, but I think I'll start again.
