user 4783454 Calgary, AB 4th Post	hey everyone, don't think i'm going to be able to make it to the May meetup because i have relatives coming. but i was wondering, when/where are these Otafest and Animethon events taking place? and are people from the meetup group planning on going to them? i know, i know, probably a stupid question right??? :D allison

LordBaane Group Organizer Calgary, AB 89th Post	Otafest is on the May long weekend, from Friday to Sunday this year. Animethon is still up in the air if you believe it. Currently, it looks like the August long weekend, but the following two weekends have been posted as well so we'll see.

AnimeGuru Calgary, AB 85th Post	Otafest occurs over over the may long weekend at the University of Calgary. Animethon has confirmed dates of August 8-10 at Grant MacEwen City Campus in Edmonton.
