Costume help

Hey all,

John here. I was thinking about making a costume (not actually anime related) and was looking for some help on learning to sew and that sort of thing. If anyone would like to volunteer lessons I can cook or something for them. Lemme know.

How soon are you looking to do this...? I'm okay at sewing, but right now I'm working on Otakon outfits and my sister mentioned wanting a couple unrelated costumes...@_@ Otherwise I would love to help.

Well, it's still a couple months away in august for the Renfaire. Really, I'm just looking for some pointers on sewing and maybe how to use a sewing machine to get me started. I can probably take it from there. Also, maybe how to use a pattern if you know how.
