Live Action Death Note Screenings in Tacoma

Don't say I never do anything for you guys lol

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. The news broke today but I just now got all the details. Viz Media is going to screen the live action Death Note movie at 300+ screens around the country for two nights next month. People who subscribe to the shonen jump newsletter will get to buy advance tickets from Friday to Monday. Monday they go on sale to the general public via www.fathomevents.com.

The screenings happen on May 20th and May 21st at 7:30pm and includes a special 20 minute interview with the Japanese director giving his thoughts on the series and movie and such stuffs. I am going to be covering it for my website (despite how much I absolutely hate horror movies and I'm likely going to have nightmares for a week because of this) so if anyone wants to tag along with me go ahead and say so.

Only four theaters in the area are screening it:

I'm likely going to head to the Supermall to watch it, it's a little bit of an easier drive for me.
