Did you choose your college major in engineering because you decided the world was seriously lacking in awesome transforming robots? "Um, excuse me?" Are you a friend of those who love blonde martial artists in orange jumpsuits that occasionally turn into animals? "Are you talking about Dragonball or Naruto?" Are you sick of people saying that Derek Wildstar was the gunner of the Argo, when it was obviously Kodai Susumu of the Yamato? "Wait, how old are you?" Then you should consider coming to Pittsburgh Anime meetups. Because we're awesome, enjoy sharing what we like and dislike about hyperviolent Japanese cartoons, and have access to the Internets, which are a grand channel for making connections that can even extend into the real world. Or should I say... ZA WARUDO?! "Za what?" ==================== ===== I want your input on meetup logistics so that we can get as many people involved as possible! Meeting at Eat N Park on McKnight Road! A Pittsburgh area favorite - at the very least, come for the smiley cookies. Stay for the cartoons ^_^ While there are certainly plenty of cool Asian restaurants we could check out, I figure for now it's best to take things slow and wait for more members before we do the awesome stuff. (That, and I need to acquire a taste for most food that exists.) Read more
