And now for something completely--well, maybe only sorta--different!

At the suggestion of a few members, I thought we could meet at the Kuan Yin Teahouse in Wallingford for good tea and better company. Kuan Yin is a low-key venue, so we won't have to shout to be heard, and I've heard they have lots of wonderfully different kinds of tea to experiment with.

We'll start at 2 pm; I plan on bringing my sketchbook (and possibly some manga to share), and I encourage others to bring anything they'd like to work on, discuss, or enjoy in the company of fellow-minded fen, whether it be fanart, fanfiction, or even your current cosplay project. Or just bring yourself, and enjoy tea and conversation with the rest of us!

If there are any questions or suggestions, don't be afraid to ask--as always, I look forward to seeing everyone!

    Hey guys, I'm heading down to Portland this weekend for Race for the Cure (my family and I do it every year), so I'll miss this meetup. I look forward to the next one, thought! Have a good weekend.

    Hi Micha--we'll miss you, but I understand how that goes! If this meetup goes well (they have enough space for all of us, etc.), I don't see why we couldn't schedule another one ... I'll take a look at the calendar after this weekend and see what we can do. :) I hope you have fun with your friend!

    Hi guys - I really want to do this event again because I miss you. Can we make up a new meet-up? I will make you priority (except for work, but I think that's most of us). Hi everyone... :( meh....I was really looking forward to this meet-up.
