Announcing a new meeting for Seattle Women's Anime Meetup!

Why: An open, friendly atmosphere in which to fangirl in
Meeting Description: Ok, folks, this will be our very first anime-viewing get together! I'm calling this one our Underappreciated Anime Potluck, or UAP. What did I have in mind? It's pretty simple--pick one series or movie that's your favorite, but not widely known. (No Bleach or Naruto, please!) Bring it along with your wonderfully cool self, and hopefully a snack or something to share as you dazzle everyone with your carefully chosen selection! (Extra brownie points if it has pretty boys in it!)
Some extra points: obviously we can't watch whole series in a few hours, so we'll probably only watch an episode or two of whatever people bring, depending on how many submissions we get and how long they are. So make sure to choose the episodes you think best represent your chosen series!
If you know you're going to attend, please put the anime you want to bring in your RSVP note. That way we won't have people bringing the same thing multiple times. Variety is the spice of life, after all. :-D My contribution will be the excellent OVA Yukikaze--cool animation, great dogfights, and yummy fighter pilots for the win!
Right now I've tentatively set the meetup at my place from 3pm to 8 pm or so--I have enough room for a small horde, at least. :) The downside is I'm in the wilds of Kent, so my apologies to any of our more northerly folk. If anyone wants to propose a better/more central location, shoot me a message--I'm always open to new options...
