Meetup Description: Ok, since the first one went pretty well, I'm having another anime potluck--if people like it, I'll make this a regular occurrence. :-) This one is a bit delayed due to vacations and whatnot, but hopefully we can get together and have fun anyway.
The theme for this month's Anime Potluck is pretty boys! Pick an anime movie or series that has your favorite gorgeous boys (or men, we're not picky) in it to share. It's a tough decision to make, I know--there are just so many cute characters out there, so make sure to bring your personal favorite. (And don't be afraid to tell us why!) In addition, feel free to bring a snack or food item to share with your fellow fans. :-)
Things to remember: obviously we can't watch a whole series in a few hours, so we'll probably only watch an episode or two of whatever people bring, depending on how many submissions we get and how long they are. So make sure to choose the episodes that showcases the utter coolness of your chosen character(s)!
If you know you're going to attend, please put the anime you want to bring in your RSVP note. That way we won't have people bringing the same thing multiple times. Variety is the spice of life, after all. :-D My contribution will be Loveless--with pretty cat-boys and a good dose angst, how can you go wrong?
Right now the meetup is tentatively at my place again from 3pm to 8 pm or so--I have enough room for a small horde, at least. :) The downside is again that I'm in the wilds of Kent, so my apologies to any of our more northerly folk. If anyone wants to propose an alternate location, I'm always open to new options...
That's it for now, tho I may send out other updates if anything changes. I hope to see you all there!
